Anthony Ray "Tony" Wallace, 64, of Monticello, Indiana, died at 4:20 a.m. on Monday, June 30, 2025, at his residence, after a short battle with cancer.
Tony was born on Saturday, February 25, 1961, in Terre Haute to Lewis Edward and Brenda Faye (Knuckles) Wallace
On April 12, 2003, in Clarks Hill, Indiana he married Dianna M. (Baker) Haynes. She survives.
Tony was born and raised in Clarks Hill, Indiana. He was a 1979 graduate McCutcheon High School and about a year later he entered the U.S. Air Force serving for four years. Tony then returned home and worked in Drywall and Construction work. He then went and was currently working at Lafayette Interior Fashions (formerly Lafayette Venetian Blind). Tony enjoyed gardening, fishing, and especially liked woodworking.
Tony is survived by his wife Dianna M. Wallace of Monticello, Indiana; daughters, Shannon (husband Phil) Harting of Lafayette, Indiana, and Hayley (husband Duncan) Wallace of West Lafayette, Indiana; sons, Anthony Ray Wallace, Jr. of Frankfort, Indiana and Michael (wife Tonya) Haynes of Lafayette, Indiana; fifteen (15) grandchildren; two (2) great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Lewis Wallace of Lafayette, Indiana; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins..
Tony was preceded in death by parents, Edward and Brenda Faye (Knuckles) Wallace; stepdaughter, Crystal Campbell, brothers, Edward Lewis Wallace and Jeffery "Wally" Wallace.
A gathering of family, friends, and sharing of memories will be from 2:00p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at the Deibels Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana, concluding with full military honors conducted by the Monticello Veterans Honor Guard.
Burial will be private for the family.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or can be mailed to
