Beverly A. Sparks, 82, of Burnettsville, Indiana, died peacefully at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026, in the Monticello Assisted Living and Healthcare Center, Augusta Cottage.

Bev was born on Thursday, June 17, 1943, in Chalmers, Indiana to Galen E. Sparks and Nellie May (Roller) Sparks. They both preceded her in death.

Bev spent most all of her life in Burnettsville, Indiana.  She was graduate of the Burnettsville High School in the class of 1961.  She went to beauty school after high school and worked as beautician for several years. Bev worked as a receptionist for former Chesebrough Ponds of Monticello, Indiana leaving there to work the front desk retiring from Hicks Gas of Monticello, Indiana. She was lifelong member of the Burnettsville First Baptist Church playing the organ since her early teens. Bev enjoyed crocheting when she was younger and able.  She loved to travel and spent some extended time vacationing, spending time in Florida and Hawaii.  Bev truly loved her family and her Lord.

Bev is survived by her sister, Dorothy Broughton of Burnettsville, Indiana, niece Denese (husband Scott) Young of Burnettsville, Indiana; nephew, Eugene Broughton of Burnettsville, Indiana; great niece, Rachel (husband Kyle) Lachmund of Reynolds, Indiana; great nephew, Riley (wife Brittany) Young of Monticello, Indiana; great-great nieces and nephews, Kohen, Kooper, Kyla, and Renley Lachmund, and Lincoln and Lenora Young; several step great nieces, nephew, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Gathering of family and friends will be held from 12:00 (noon) until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Burnettsville Baptist Church of 202 S. Main St., Burnettsville, Indiana.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Burnettsville Baptist Church 202 S. Main St., Burnettsville, Indiana 47926 with Pastor Jerry Long officiating.

Burial will follow in the Idaville Cemetery of Idaville, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be given to First Baptist Church of Burnettsville, Indiana. Envelopes will be available at the church and or can be mailed to 202 S. Main St., Burnettsville, Indiana 47926, C/O Beverly Sparks.
