Carole Joyce Sprowl, 87, of Monticello, Indiana, died on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Carole was born on Monday, May 17, 1937, in Monticello, Indiana to Robert Manford Reynolds and Viva Rose Cowger. They both preceded her in death.

Carole was born and raised in Monticello, Indiana.  She worked for the old A.O. Smith as an assembler for many years, retiring in 1999. Carole loved animals, especially her cats and dogs.  She was known for watching her movies, anything British and crime related was her favorite.

Carole is survived by her daughters, Paula Foddrill, Lana Alpha, and Renee Sprowl all of Monticello, Indiana; her grandchildren, Robert (wife Tina) Young of Lafayette, Indiana, Charles (wife Amanda) Young of Monticello, Indiana, Kari (husband P.J.) Applegate of Logansport, Indiana, William (wife Stephanie) Taff of Monon, Indiana, Tya (husband Kyle) Peters of Monticello, Indiana, Erica (husband Isaac) Daugherty of Dayton, Indiana, Araceli (husband Gustavo) Garcia Sarmiento of Memphis, Tennessee, Jelena Garcia of Monticello, Indiana; many great-grandchildren; brother Jim Reynolds of Monticello, Indiana; nephews, Jim Reynolds, Jr. and Bob (wife Heather) Reynolds of Monticello, Indiana; niece, Alicia Sharkey of Monticello, Indiana.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents, Robert M. and Viva R. (Cowger) Reynolds; brother, Sonny Reynolds; and a great-granddaughter, Persephone Daugherty.

A private family graveside service will be held in the I.O.O.F. Riverview Cemetery of Monticello, Indiana, per Carole's wishes.
