Dennis K. "Denny" Hintz, 64, of Monticello, Indiana, died unexpectedly at 3:35 p.m., on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at his residence.

Dennis was born at 11:01 a.m. on Saturday, September 3, 1960, in White County, Indiana to John E. Hintz, Sr. and Doris K. (Noe) Hintz.  John preceded him in death on Monday, June 1, 2015.

Denny was a 1979 graduate of the Twin Lakes High School of Monticello, Indiana. He went on to work for Old RCA Plant, McGills, Lear's Quality Heating and Air Conditioning, and finished his work career at Chamber's Trash Removal.  Dennis played in the Monticello Little League for several years. He played ball through high school.  Denny truly enjoyed men's league softball when he was able.  He was known for his pool playing, shooting sports, and card games.  He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Denny had a passion for looking for deals on Ebay mostly fishing lures, rods, and reels.

Dennis is survived by his sons, Rob (wife Sarah) Hintz and Eric (companion Katie) Hintz; mother, Doris K. Hintz of Monticello, Indiana; brothers, Steven Hintz, and Shayne (wife Tracy) Hintz; uncles, Richard Hintz, Joe Hintz, Roger Hintz, Larry (wife Carolyn) Noe, and Garry (wife Rita) Noe; nieces, Lindsey, Grace, and Liv; nephews, Caden, Dawson, and Victor; several cousins, and friends.

Dennis is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carl and Lucile (Templeton) Hintz; maternal grandparents, Lois (McFadden) and Glennis Noe; father, John E. Hintz, Sr; brother, John E. Hintz, Jr; aunts Shirley Hintz, Linda Hintz, Sandra Wilson.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the Deibels Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.

A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the Deibels Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana with Pastor Benji Riddle of the Monticello Christian Church officiating.

A private family burial will follow.
