Elizabeth Ann "Liz" Green, 82, of Monticello, Indiana, died peacefully at 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at her residence with her loving family by her side.
Liz was born on Thursday, October 14, 1943, in rural Cass County, Indiana to John Carl Watts and Betty Beatrice (Fultz) Watts. They both preceded her in death.
On Sunday, July 14, 1968, in Royal Center, Indiana in Rev. Skelton's house she married William Michael Green. He survives.
Liz was a homemaker and a very devoted mother and wife. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Liz could be found doing her word puzzles and crocheting. She enjoyed watching TV and mostly family shows.
Liz is survived by her loving husband, William M. "Bill" Green of Monticello, Indiana; daughter, Cindy L. Green of Monticello, Indiana; sister, Martha Inman of Monticello, Indiana; brother, Jerry Watts of Monticello, Indiana; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews cousins and friends.
Liz was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Evelyn Mae "Tiny" Conwell, Beverly Jean Pritts, and Mary Lou Sigman.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at the Deibels Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.
A celebration of Liz's life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Deibels Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana with Chaplain Magi Wehner of Redcrest Hospice Officiating.
Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery of rural Burnettsville, Indiana.
Memorial donations may be given to the wishes of the donor. Envelopes will be available at funeral home.
