Everett Knox Summers, 9 months, born into eternal life at 8:30 p.m. on Monday, April 14, 2025, at the Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana, with his loving family by his side.

Everett was born on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, in Lafayette, Indiana, to Kiara R. Summers. She survives.

Everett was a fun-loving young man full of energy and passion.  He truly loved his sister and being a little brother. Everett loved to be sung to.  He was loved and will be missed by all those that knew him.

Everett is survived by his mother and father, Kiara R. (Chris D. Melton) Summers of Monticello, Indiana; sister, Rozlynn R. Summers, of Monticello, Indiana step-siblings, Cora Miller, Braxton Melton, and Everly Melton; maternal grandfather, Mitch Summers of West Palm Beach, Florida; maternal grandmother, Stacy (Mike Collins) Pfrommer of Monticello, Indiana; aunts, Kelsey Gordon of Lafayette, Indiana, and Kayla Summers of Lafayette, Indiana; uncle, Austin Summers of Monticello, Indiana; maternal great grandparents, Jim and Rose Pfrommer of Monticello, Indiana, and Nancy MacDowell of Lafayette, Indiana; several cousins.

Everett was preceded in death by infant sister, Skylin R. Summers

A private family service was held at the Deibels Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.

Burial will be private for the family.
