James Allen Snapp, age 64 of Monticello, Indiana died on Monday, September 16, 2024 at his residence.  He was born Thursday, July 28, 1960 in Lafayette to James A. Snapp and was raised by Helen Snapp.

Jim worked as a groundskeeper for some time at the Pine View Golf Course in Monticello.  He enjoyed bowling, golfing, hunting and fishing.  He also enjoyed playing video games, BINGO and the company of his friends at the Ben Hur Tavern in Lafayette.

Surviving family includes daughter Lindsy (& Kyle) Cottrell of Brookston and their children Kayden and Ava, Lindsy's mother Gloria Lawson of Lafayette, longtime friend Clint and Megan Brandt of Monticello and their children Sage and Averie as well as other family and friends.

Services were held privately.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Deibels Funeral Home, Monticello.
