Jane Elizabeth "Beth" Myers, 62, of Rensselaer, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2026, at 10:48 p.m. at George Ade Memorial Health Care Center of Brook, Indiana, surrounded by her loving family.
Beth was born on Monday, September 23, 1963, in Charleston, West Virginia to Anna Moore and Denny Jo Hartwell. They both preceded her in death.
Beth was raised in Mount Ayr, Indiana. She was a 1981 graduate of the North Newton High School of Morrocco, Indiana. Beth was a CNA and worked in the health care industry most all of her life. She retired doing the medical billing for a private practice. Beth loved spending time with her family and friends. She adored little kids and always made them feel welcomed and loved. She enjoyed listening to all kinds of music and in her later years became active in her church. Beth will be missed most for her sense of humor.
Beth is survived by her sons Josh Myers of Columbus, Indiana, and Tyler Myers of Rensselaer, Indiana, siblings, Judith Hartwell, Charlie Hartwell, Brenda (husband Dave) Robling, Rose Hartwell, Paul (wife Denise) Hartwell, and Roger Hartwell, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
Beth was preceded in death by, parents, Anna (Moore) and Denny Jo Hartwell, siblings, Ruth Van Liew, Dan Hartwell, Debrah Long, Walter Hartwell, and Joan Marie "Joani" Fritz.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Wolcott Methodist Church 300 S Range St., Wolcott, Indiana.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Wolcott Methodist Church with Pastor Edwin "Ed" Bontreger of the Fellowship of Living Hope officiating.
Memorials may be given to family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home, the church, or can be mailed to 601 Gordon Rd., Monticello, Indiana C/O Beth Myers family. (please make checks out to Tyler Myers).
