Janet Marie Armstrong, 68, of DeMotte, Indiana, was called home at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Aperion Care assisted living.

Janet was born on Saturday, July 13, 1957, in Rensselaer, Indiana to Gerald "Jerry" Armstrong and Barbara Love.

Janet was a 1975 graduated of the North Newton High School.  She had lived all over the country including California, Utah, Nevada, Indiana and several others.  Janet truly loved the mountains and the dessert; she always commented on Gods beauty and the wonders of his creation.

Janet is survived by her daughters, Wendy (husband Chuck) Edwards of Port St. Joe, Florida and Cathy Durr of Las Vegas, Nevada, granddaughter, Jaelyn Edwards of Port St. Joe, Florida, father, Gerald "Jerry" (wife Gail) Armstrong of Monticello, Indiana, sister, Susan (husband Billy) Day of Monticello, Indiana, stepsisters, Cindy, Donna, and Barbie, brothers, Brian Armstrong of California and Bill (wife Nan) Armstrong of Cedar Lake, Indiana, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Janet is preceded in death by her mother, Barb Love.

No public visitation or services are scheduled at this time.

Burial and services will be private for the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the wishes of the donor. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
