Jeffrey W. "Jeff" Brown, 70, of Monticello, Indiana, passed peacefully due to complication from a recent cancer diagnosis at 6:02 a.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2024, in the IU Health White Memorial Hospital, with his family by his side.

Jeff was born on Friday, October 1, 1954, in Monticello, Indiana, to Marjorie Jane (Smith) and Francis Ralph Brown. They preceded him in death.

On June 5, 1976, in Mt. Vernon, Indiana, he married Veronique Dawn "Ronnie" Meier.  She passed on Sunday, April 30, 2017.

Jeff was a known for being an extremely hard worker and mostly known for delivering bulk fuel for the White, Carroll, and surrounding counties. Jeff, his dad, and brother started City Fuel in 1973 and retired from Co-Alliance in 2022.  He was a member of the Monticello JC's and the Sons of the American Legion Post 81 of Monticello. Jeff used to play cards with his local card club.  He loved and enjoyed playing golf with his family and friends.  Jeff also enjoyed his Monday Nights Men's league in Monticello. Jeff was a very devoted husband, loved and cherished his kids, and especially adored and spoiled his grandchildren.

Jeff is survived by his, children, Alison "Ali" (husband Michael) Tinich of Lowell, Indiana, and EJ (wife Greta) Brown, both of Monticello, Indiana; Grandchildren, Eli, Austin, Kendra, and Amber Brown, all of Monticello, Indiana, Dallas and Veronique "Vera" Tinich both of Lowell, Indiana, brother, Les (wife Sandy) Brown of Monticello, Indiana, nephew, Chris Brown of Lafayette, Indiana, fiancée, Brenna Travis of Monticello, Indiana, mother and father-in-law, Eugene and Rae Ann Meier, of Fargo, Oklahoma brother-in-law, EJ (wife Leah) Meier of Florida, nieces, Kelsey Seessengood of Denver, Colorado and Kayla (husband Tyler) Bishop of Westfield, Indiana, great nieces, Reese Brown, Peyton Seessengood, Rylee Seessengood and Ava Bishop, great nephews, Ethan Brown and Brooks Bishop, several cousins and friends.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie and Francis "Ralph" Brown, wife, Veronique Dawn "Ronnie" Brown.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at the Deibels Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.

A private celebration and family burial will take place at a later date.
