Jeramy Edward Bailey, 47, of Lafayette, Indiana, died unexpectedly at 7:12 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana.
Jeramy was born on Wednesday, November 30, 1977, in Monticello, Indiana to Dianna Lynn (Monnett) Bailey and John Joseph Bailey. They survive and both reside in Monticello, Indiana.
On August 11, 2023, in Lafayette, Indiana, he married the love of his life Kelly Woodcock. She survives.
Jeramy was born and raised in Monticello, Indiana. He was a 1996 graduate of Twin Lakes High School; he then went on to Ivy Tech graduating in 1998 with a degree in electronics. Jeramy had worked at General Devices of Greenwood, Indiana for the past twelve years as their Product Design Specialist. Jeramy loved spending time with his pets, he enjoyed sun rise and sun sets, and the outdoors in general. He was known for all the pictures of nature. Jeramy was a huge music fan attending many concerts, he collected albums, memorabilia, t-shirts, socks and you name it he wanted it. He was a sports fan and really enjoyed Pokemon Go. Jeramy truly loved and enjoyed his family especially the kids.
Jeramy is also survived by stepdaughter, Jasmine Doffin, and son, Conner Wheeldon both of Lafayette, Indiana; mother and father-in law, Debra and Billy Woodcock of Monticello, Indiana; sister-in-law, Chrissy Woodcock her children Hayden and Addison Novak of Monticello, Indiana; aunt, Penny (Bryan) Foulks and cousin, Stacy (Luke) Rogers of Monticello, Indiana.
Jeramy is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Bud and Jean Monnett; paternal grandparents, Eugene and Marie Bailey.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2025, at the Deibels Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana, the family has requested casual attire or your favorite band t-shirts be worn in Jeramy's Honor.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
