Jerry D. Morgan, 70 of Battle Ground, Indiana passed away at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at the IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana, with his loving family by his side.

Jerry was born on Sunday, November 21, 1954, in Oakland, California to John D. Morgan and Mabel J. (Pfaff) Morgan. They both preceded him in death.

On Saturday, November 4, 1972, in Richmond, California he married the love of his life, Rosanne "Rosey" Silva, they have been married 52 years. She survives.

Jerry was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.  He was an extremely hard-working individual who always did things his way.  Jerry had a very successful career followed by retirement. He enjoyed taking care of his trees and yard.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman and especially loved doing so with his son and grandsons.  One of his favorite memories was his fishing trip with his son Joe. He was a huge San Francisco 49ers and Giants fan. His grandkids will always remember his fried chicken, his amazing breakfasts, and the time he spent with them all.

Jerry is survived by his wife Rosanne "Rosey" Morgan of Battle Ground, Indiana; sons, Justin D. (wife Jennifer) Morgan of Burnettsville, Indiana, Joseph D. "Joe" (wife Carrie) Morgan of Farmington, Missouri; daughter, Jessica (husband Tom) Morgan - Buschman of Reynolds, Indiana; grandchildren, Jacob (Stephanie), Tyler, and Haley Morgan, Austin, Ayden, and Audrie Morgan, Brayden (fiancée Lauren), Bentley, Adalyn, Hannah, Morgan, Boston, and Avinley Buschman; great grandson, James Morgan; sisters, Judy (husband Danny) Suggs, Bonnie (h usband Neil) Newland, and Sharon (husband Bill) Rogers all of California; father-in-law, Ronald D. (Sharon) Silva; brothers-in-law, Ronnie Silva, Jr., Dave (wife Dee) Silva, and Mike Silva; sisters-in-law, Priscilla Silva and Dodie Silva-Taylor; many loving aunts, uncles, especially uncle Bud and aunt Cleo, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; his two favorite dogs, Maui and Kona.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mabel (Pfaff) Morgan; grandchildren, Aubrie Nichole Morgan and Avery Hope Morgan; mother-in-law, Rose Silva and brother-in-law, Robert Silva; uncle, Willie.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
