Jesse L.
Miller
August 24, 1980 – May 23, 2025
Jesse Leroy Miller, age 44 of White Cloud, Michigan and formerly of Monticello, Indiana, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025 at his home.
He was born on August 24, 1980, in Lafayette, Indiana. Jesse was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Iraq War, and he was a member of the White Cloud VFW Post #2053. He was also a member of the Howard County Vietnam Veterans and All Veterans Organization, and a volunteer for the West Michigan Veterans Ranch. Jesse was deeply proud of his life of voluntary service to our community and country, dedicating himself wholeheartedly to supporting fellow veterans and giving back wherever he could. A true outdoorsman, Jesse found peace in the woods and took great pride in working on his 40-acre property. He loved fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his buddies. But above all, he treasured time spent with his wife, family, and friends—they meant the world to him.
He is survived by his wife, Crystal Miller, whom he married on June 3, 2023; children: Carson Baird, Avery Miller, Hope Fultz, Kadence Plake, Kaylee Plake, Emma Plake, Abigail Brett, and Andrew Brett; granddaughter, Linley Miller; mother, Julie Miller; brother, Robert Miller; and sisters, Stacy (Kenny) Winegardner and Kelly Miller. Jesse was preceded in death by his father, Robert Miller.
Military Honors will be presented by the Monticello Veterans Honor Guard beginning at 3:00p.m. on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at the Monticello Amvets Post 91, 219 Northwestern Avenue, Monticello, followed by a celebration of life service officiated by Chaplain Chip Canter, and gathering of family and friends concluding at 7:00p.m.
