Joyeta Kay Hale, 61, of Chalmers, Indiana, died unexpectedly on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 10:31 a.m., at her residence.

Joyeta was born on Wednesday, June 19, 1963, in Monticello, Indiana, she was born to John Leroy "Jack" Hale and Kathleen Marie (Baker) Hale. They both preceded her in death.

Joyeta was born and raised in White County, Indiana. She was a 1982 graduate of the Frontier High School.  Joyeta was a desk clerk at several local hotels.  She was known her computer art and had babysitter for many many children in the area. Joyeta was a devoted caretaker for her mother and father and loved animals.

Survivors include sister, Penny (husband Chris) Hale - Hefner; brother, Jack L. Hale of Chalmers, Indiana; nieces, Lisa (fiancé David Caro) Kornhauser and Cynthia (husband Robby) Beason; great niece, Amra Rose Beason; great nephew, Brayden Allen Beason and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents and cousin, Tom Sorrell.

A gathering of family and friends will be on Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 2:00 until the time of service at 4:00 p.m., at the Deibels Funeral Home, 601 Gordon Road, Monticello, Indiana.

A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at the Deibels Funeral Home of Monticello.

Burial will take place at the Chalmers Cemetery on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.

Memorial donations may be given to family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or can be mailed to P.O. Box 21, Chalmers, IN 47929.
