Obituary

Kimberly Marie Hessling, 51 of Idaville, Indiana died unexpectedly at 11:18 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Community Health Heart & Vascular Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Kim was born on Tuesday, October 17, 1974, in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Dalton Meaux and Cora Earline (Rush) Meaux. 

On Tuesday, August 8, 2006, she married Larry J. Hessling, he died on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.

Kim was a 1993 graduate of the Comeaux High School of Lafayette, Louisiana.  She was caregiver by trade and worked at Ad Kev for several years.  Kim was member of Faith Covenant Fellowship Church where she participated in Women's Bible Study and helped with church events.  She truly enjoyed reading books and had a deep love for animals. Kim was a very loving and caring person.   

Kim is survived by her sons, Larry Dalton (wife Emily) Stratton of Hastings, Nebraska and David Allen Stratton of Idaville, Indiana; daughters, Rebekah Hessling of Idaville, Indiana and Jennifer Nicole Hessling of Missouri; grandchildren, Jacob and Lucas Stratton, Antonio Camacho, Estella Camacho, Ralvy Camacho, Carisma Harrison, Johnathan Hessling Juan, Maria Hough, and Fernanda Hough; mother, Cora Earline "Earl" Meaux of Monticello, Indiana; brothers, Dalton Joseph ( wife Serina) Meaux, Jr. of Monticello, Indiana, and Robin Dane Meaux of Palmdale, California; sisters, Lori Meaux of Morgan City, Louisiana and Dee Morris of Mississippi; nieces and nephews, Lance Meaux, Matthew Meaux, and Hannah Meaux, Selina (husband Brian) Scott and Brittany (husband Tyler) Lucas.

 Kim is preceded in death by her father, Dalton Joseph Meaux, Sr. and her husband, Larry J. Hessling.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2026, Faith Covenant Church of Monticello, Indiana.

A celebration of life service will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2026, at Faith Covenant Fellowship Church of Monticello, Indiana with Pastor John Sullivan officiating.

Burial will be private for the family.

Memorial contributions may be given to family or Faith Covenant Fellowship Church. Envelopes will be available at the church or can be mailed to Faith Covenant Fellowship 1010 W. Washington St. Monticello, IN 47960 C/O Hessling Family.
