Larry G. "Buff" Fowler, 81, of Monticello, Indiana, died on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 6:29 p.m. in the Monticello Assisted Living and Healthcare Center of Monticello, Indiana.

Larry was born on Tuesday, February 8, 1944, in White County, Indiana, Marion Dale and Kathryn (Barton) Fowler, they preceded him in death.

Larry was born and raised in White County, Indiana.  He was a 1962 graduate of the Idaville High School.  Larry was known for his attention to detail in his drywall / finishing work.  He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandkids.

Larry is survived by his daughters, Julie (husband Jose) Rubalcava of Monticello, Indiana and Lisa (John) Watts of Monticello, Indiana, son Dale Fowler, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Kathryn Fowler, daughter, Tami Putnum, and brothers, James Fowler, and William "BJ" Fowler.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at the Redmens Lodge ( N Main St. Monticello, IN)  from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

A private family celebration of life service followed by burial in the I.O.O.F. Riverview Cemetery of rural Monticello, Indiana, will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the wishes of the donor. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or can be mailed to               .
