Michael "Mikie" Justin Leonard, 52, of Monticello, Indiana passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 14th, 2024. He was born in Delphi, Indiana on Jan. 28th, 1972. He was a kind and thoughtful soul who will be deeply missed and remembered by many. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and sister. Mikie is survived by his loving mother Frances Leonard (husband Royce) and father Rex Leonard (wife Shirley).

His memory will be forever cherished by his daughter, LeAnn Haro (husband Edgar); son Vincent Leonard and grandson Elias Haro; his sisters Shelly Dunn (husband Chris) and Kori Spangler (husband Jonathan); mother of his children Teresita Leonard; several nieces, nephews, a great niece, great nephew and many very special extended family members and friends.

Mikie had a unique sense of humor that left us with fun loving memories and laughter. He had a huge heart and undying love for his family. He enjoyed fishing and family get-togethers.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel in Bristol, Tennessee with Pastor Jonathan Spangler officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., prior to the service. The committal service will follow at Gum Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Edgar Haro, Seth Green, Levi Spangler, Conner Green, Abram Spangler, Dauson Ogden, Calvary Spangler, Braden Leonard, and Jason Spears.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mikie's name to The Autistic and Children with Special Needs Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
