Patricia Ann "Patti" Britton, 68, of Monticello, Indiana, gained her angel wings at 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, with her family by her side.

Patti was born on Tuesday, September 4, 1956, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to Winfred and Beverly (Rae) Edwards.  They both preceded her in death.

Patti was a 1974 graduate of the Twin Lakes High School.  She had spent most all of her life in the Monticello area, farming, working in real estate, and in the office of Kmart.  Patti was a staple at the Monticello bowling center, working the counter, assisting with leagues, and always promoting the youth bowlers.  She was an active member of the USBC (United States Bowling Commission) and belonged to the White County Realtors Association. Patti loved playing cards and games especially Farkle.  She adored her two cats Milo and Cricket. Patti truly enjoyed spending time with her daughters and even more spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Patti is survived by  her daughters, Brandi Fitz of Monticello, Indiana, Tricia (husband Mike) Spangle of Monticello, Indiana, and Tracie (companion Jay Westenhofer) Britton of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandson Anthony (wife Shelby) Fitz of Lafayette, Indiana, Bryce Britton, and Hunter Britton both of Monticello, Indiana; great granddaughter, Raegan Jane Fitz and Reese Ivy Fitz; sisters, Kandi (husband Jesse Malagon) Johnson  of Logansport, Indiana and Cathy (husband Orne) Marshall of Portage, Michigan; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

Patti was preceded in death by her parents, Winfred and Beverly (Rae) Edwards, son Jeremy Britton, and fiancé William "Bill" Smith.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the Deibels Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the Deibels Funeral Home of Monticello, Indiana with Rev. Justin Cason officiating.

Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, in the Tippecanoe Memorial Gardens of West Lafayette, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family or Soup for the Soul (Monticello United Methodist Church). Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or can be mailed to 601 Gordon Rd., Monticello, IN 47960 C/O Britton Family.
