Robert "Rob" Sean Engles, 54, of Monticello, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 10, 2025, at IU Health White Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his family.

Rob was born on Sunday, October 3, 1971, in Monticello, to Jack and Cherry (Glover) Engels.

Rob graduated from Twin Lakes High School and quickly began working. Rob most recently was working at Twin Lakes Canvas, and Life's A Beach laundromat and tanning salon. In his free time Rob had a passion for working on various projects at work and at home. Rob loved to tinker and to stay busy. Rob had a unique sense of humor and loved to laugh.  He loved spending time with his friends and family around bonfires and his favorite music. His most cherished time was spent with his loving family and friends.

Rob is survived by his mother; Cherry (Glover) Engles, his loving partner of 23 years; Janice Fisher, a sister; Tina Huffer, brother; Jack Engles Jr., several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and many friends.

Rob was preceded in death by his father, Jack Engles.

A visitation honoring the life of Rob will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2025, located at Deibels Funeral Home, 601 Gordon Road, Monticello, beginning at 1 pm until 4 pm.

Private family burial will follow at a later date.
