Robin Daryl "Beak" Kopka, 70, of Port Clinton, Ohio, died on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
He was born to Claiborne Earp and Audrey Mineer, and was adopted by Kenneth Kopka, they all proceeded him in death.
On November 2, 1974, he married Brenda Anderson, they had two children Angie and Elvis. He grew up in the White County area. He had worked at Alloy Rod, Chemtron, and Keen Monon for many years. Robin had drove a semi-truck most all of his life. He was a wonderful mechanic and loved doing it, he could be found servicing almost all of his own vehicles. He enjoyed NASCAR, Dale Earnhardt being his favorite, and was an avid motorcycle enthusiast owning Harleys off and on his whole life. Robin later worked for Wheaton Van moving company. His hobbies included going to concerts and was in his own band for a short time as well as spending time with his family. Robin had moved and been living in Ohio since 2006. He was an amazing father and was extremely family oriented.
Robin is survived by his daughter, Angela "Angie" & Paul Green of Lafayette, Indiana; a grandson, Landon Patrick Green of Lafayette, Indiana; sisters, Naomi Kopka of Reynolds, Indiana, and Lori Jean Miller of Liberty, North Carolina; brother, David & Kathy Kopka of Muskegon, Michigan; nieces and nephews, Jessica, Joy, Jeremy, Emmitt, Donald and Kaleb; several great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Robin was preceded in death by his mother, Audrey (Mineer) Reynolds, biological father, Claiborne Earp, and adopted father, Kenneth Kopka; his son, Elvis Aron Presley "E" Kopka; brother-in-law, Larry Shelton.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Deibels Funeral Home on Saturday, May 18, 24 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor David Kopka officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or can be mailed to 601 Gordon Rd., Monticello, IN 47960 C/O Kopka family.
